Area = Length × Width
Volume (ft³) = Area × Thickness (ft)
Cubic Yards = Volume ÷ 27
Tons = Cubic Yards × 1.4
Example:
50 × 12 = 600 ft²
3" thick → 150 ft³
150 ÷ 27 ≈ 5.56 yd³
5.56 × 1.4 ≈ 7.8 tons
